Robyn and his wife Kate moved to Grants Pass in 2010 with their two boys and have called it home since. Robyn’s favorite things to do when not working include spending time with his family, going to the gym or spend time with his wife at the beach to relax and recharge.

Favorite thing to do in Grants Pass? Walking around downtown and shopping with my wife.

Favorite Restaurant in Grants Pass: That’s a tough one! I love OPPA; their pizzas are phenomenal and ‘hot legs’ are pretty good too. Carson’s Bistro is also a favorite, where literally everything on the menu is outstanding. And for Sushi you can’t beat Mushashi.

Something you may not have known about me: I have trained in the martial arts for over 30 years, practicing multiple styles including Kenpo Karate and 10th Planet Ju-Jitsu. I’ve competed in numerous tournaments and even a couple cage fights. I currently hold a 6th degree Black Belt in Kenpo Karate.

Favorite Annual Event: Kids Dash. It is a great event focused on getting kids moving. Every year, in June, the Kid Zone Community Foundation holds a kids track and field style event surrounded by a carnival of games (also known as the Frog O’Faire) and even includes fun booths focused on healthy habits for kids and a Bubble Run to cap it off!

Must-do in Grants Pass: Definitely get a tour of the “Bear Hotel”. So cool to see all of the art that decorates Grants Pass and where the artists work. The tour consists of Bigfoots layer, A Rocket Ship on Mars and not to mention a bunch of bears. An amazing site to see for sure.

What would you like to do more of in your life: I would like to travel more. There are so many places I have never been to. I want to see the World!
